Fourth of July, Canadian Style....Grand Bend Ontario

We had the most delightful Fourth of July holiday in Canada. Our friends Scott and Sarah Barker invited us to the family cottage for the weekend. The cottage pictured above was so quaint and comfortable. And, it was a short walk to the water.

We witnessed the most gorgeous sunsets every night.

Sawyer Bug was a ham the whole time and kept us entertained. He also learned how to walk while there!

These are a few pictures of the dock area where we had some delicious fresh fish that was out of this world.

The water was really nice and warm so we got in some swim time.

Practicing his walking skills. He and Nala would patrol the porch when people passed by.
 Snuggling with daddy

We bought him these great shoes at one of the downtown shops. There were many great places
to shop and Sawyer came home with a shirt, a Canadian stuffed beaver, and the classic Sweater Hockey Book.  He cleaned up! We also passed the time playing games...There is a girls vs boys Trivial Pursuit game that I believe will go on contested forever. Maybe we will get a rematch again next year.
